Welcome to the Biblical Christianity Review

Welcome to the first issue of the Biblical Christianity Review, an online journal dedicated to the pursuit of Biblical truth. There is much confusion in the religious world today (and has been for centuries). Perhaps no more confusion exists than that which centers on our first theme: Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Did Jesus exist? Who was Jesus? What is His role in our lives today? Was Jesus God, man, or both? Ask religious people throughout the world these questions and the answers will be as varied as their cultures and geographical locations. Unfortunately, even people who claim to believe that the Bible is God’s Word can have a great variety of answers to these same questions. I have always found this troubling.

Fortunately, God has provided us with an intellect. Those who choose to use that God given intellect to reason about the scriptures are doing God’s will (Isa. 1:18; 1 Thess. 5:21). However, many people who can make rational decisions in the other areas of their lives do not, for whatever reason, think clearly about the Bible. This is plain when we observe the obvious and numerous divisions in the “Christian” world today. Nearly all believers (those who believe in Jesus Christ whether they follow His teachings or not) will claim that the Bible is the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Most will also admit that God wants His people to be one (1 Cor. 1:10). Yet, it is painfully obvious that division exists in the realm of Christianity. The Biblical Christianity Review was founded with the idea of helping to unify believers in Biblical truth. May God be glorified by the work done here.
